Is this QR generator really free?
Yes. Create and download QR codes with no signup and no watermark. Optional ads appear only if the site owner enables them later.
Do you upload my QR content to a server?
Generation runs in your browser with a library hosted on this site. We do not call a third-party QR generation API. See Privacy for hosting logs and optional analytics.
How long do QR codes from this tool last?
Static QR codes do not expire on their own. A code you download today can still scan a year from now — and for many years after — as long as phones can read QR and the encoded content stays true (URL online, Wi-Fi password unchanged, phone number still valid). Keep a stable destination URL if you need long-term reliability.
Can I change a QR after I print it?
No. These are static QR codes. The encoded content is fixed when you download. This tool does not provide dynamic editing or scan tracking.
Why can’t I upload a PDF file here?
A PDF QR encodes a public URL to a PDF you already host. This static site does not store visitor files.
How do Multi-URL and App chooser QR codes work?
